Captain Greg DeVault has been fishing the waters from Charlotte Harbor to Sarasota and Tampa Bay to New Port Richey for the past 20 years. Greg has an extensive knowledge of the area, and its many rivers and saltwater estuaries. Captain Greg works hard to make sure every trip is more than just a fishing trip; it’s an angling adventure!

You will fish for snook along mangrove lined islands or in one of our many rivers, these fish are known for there drag melting runs and awesome aerial displays. Redfish also inhabit these very same waters, referred to as Central Florida Bonefish because of their long powerful runs that do not quit until the equipment and angler have been tested to the max. We also have acres and acres of beautiful turtle grass flats that are teaming with many species of fish such as speckled trout, tarpon, jack crevalle, black drum and ladyfish. During the winter months we also have a large population of Tarpon that love to show off how well they can fly. These fish can all be caught in a variety of ways, from light spinning tackle to fly equipment. No matter how you tackle these gamesters they always exhilarate the angler.

Captain Greg DeVault and and his father, Bill DeVault, are the only team to ever win two IFA Redfish Tour Championships, against the world's top Redfish Professionals.

Florida Sport Fishing Guide offers a variety of great charters with a variety of crafts to choose from.  You can go fishing on the 2300 Bay Ranger, well known for its smooth ride & overall versatility.  The large, unobstructed casting decks are ideal for fly fishing and the oversized gunnels deliver a 360° fishing platform.

Florida Sport Fishing Guide also boasts a couple of 169 Ghosts.  Serious light tackle anglers agree, that the 169 Ghost is the ultimate technical fly fishing machine.

The 169 effortlessly poles in the shallowest of waters and tracks like its on rails, regardless of current or wind conditions. Plus, this boat is built to accept larger horsepower engines and have larger fuel tanks so you can go farther…faster. Designed with zero slap hull technology, the 169 is among the quickest polling boats in the industry.

And, of course, for those hard to get to but great fishing adventures we have an exceptional airboat. Don't miss our Specialized Charters where actually fish the shallowest water you have ever been in. These trips are done during the winter months (Dec. Jan. Feb.). We fish the lowest tides of the year, the airboat allows us to drive across dry land to get deep into the backcountry where the small pools and deep holes still hold water.
